Corrections Policy
Vande Bharat News, a Hindi-language news channel and digital news organisation in India, is committed to accuracy. When we identify a factual error, we aim to correct it promptly and openly.
How to report an error
Email corrections@vandebharattv.com with the subject line Correction request, or use our contact page. Please include:
- The link to the story, or the date and time of the broadcast.
- What you believe is wrong.
- What you believe is correct, with a source or evidence if available.
- Your name and contact details, if you would like us to follow up.
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and review them as soon as reasonably practicable. Timing may vary with the complexity of the issue and the evidence available.
What we correct and how
- Minor errors: Spelling, typing or formatting mistakes that do not change the meaning may be fixed without a separate note.
- Factual errors: Errors in names, numbers, dates, places, quotes or captions should be corrected, with a visible note and date where appropriate, for example: “सुधार / Correction: लेख में तथ्यात्मक सुधार किया गया (दिनांक सहित)।”.
- Significant errors: Errors that could seriously mislead readers should receive a prominent correction. We aim to post the correction on channels where the story was shared, including YouTube and social media, and on air where applicable.
- Video errors: We may correct a video by editing it, updating its description or pinned comment, or replacing it with an explanation where necessary.
- Updates are not corrections: When a story develops, we mark it as updated where appropriate. We aim not to rewrite a published story in a way that hides a material earlier error.
Right of reply
A person or organisation named in a story may ask us to include their response. We will consider a reasonable, fact-based reply and may add it when appropriate.
Removal requests
We do not remove accurate stories only because they are unwelcome. We consider removal or anonymisation in limited cases, such as a legal order, a risk to someone’s safety, an error that cannot be fixed, or the involvement of a minor or victim. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with the response, reply to the correction email and ask for a review by the editor-in-chief. Formal complaints can also be submitted through the Grievance Redressal page.

अगर हमारी किसी खबर में तथ्यात्मक गलती है, तो कृपया corrections@vandebharattv.com पर ईमेल करें या संपर्क पृष्ठ का उपयोग करें। खबर का लिंक, गलती का विवरण और सही जानकारी का स्रोत भेजें। हम अनुरोध की शीघ्र समीक्षा करने का प्रयास करते हैं। तथ्यात्मक गलती ठीक करने पर, जहाँ उचित हो, खबर में तारीख के साथ सुधार का नोट जोड़ा जाएगा। असंतुष्ट होने पर मुख्य संपादक से समीक्षा का अनुरोध किया जा सकता है या शिकायत निवारण पृष्ठ का उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
